The next year we decided to raise more money and help as many families as we could.  Our Christmas Club has now continued to grow and over our 38 years we have worked with over 5,317 families including over 13,819 children and a total of over 23,000 people.  We have raised over $4,000,000 and very proud to say that 100% of money we raised goes to the families we assist for the holidays.

Our commitment to the families we help is to provide Thanksgiving food and a Christmas the children will never forget.  We deliver around 50 items of food for Thanksgiving and our Christmas delivery is more food, new clothing, new shoes 5-6 wish list items for each child and household needs that are requested.  Common items requested are beds, bedding, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, refurbished computers and bicycles and many other items too numerous to mention.  The families that we work with each year are suggested by Prevail, a victim's awareness and support organization based in Noblesville and by The Good Samaritan Organization of Hamilton County.  We deliver straight to the homes of most of the families, except for Prevail and in that case, we deliver to the Prevail office in Noblesville.  We raise our money with two major golf outings in July, the Ladies Charity Golf Tournament and in August we have the Men's Big Apple.  At Christmas we ask for donations and during the year we sell gift cards to various local businesses.  We are a 501C-3 not for profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible.  We hope you enjoy your Woodland membership and we hope you will join and support our tradition of The Woodland Christmas Club for Needy Children.
