Patrick White, PGA

PGA Director of Golf

Patrick was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania before attending Penn State University where he graduated in 2008 from their Professional Golf Management Degree. Patrick and his wife Sally were married in September 2011, and they have two children, Teagan Lynn White born on February 19, 2018 and Cooper Reed White born on November 11, 2020.

After his tenure at Penn State, Patrick moved to Indiana to work at Crooked Stick Golf Club. In 2009, Patrick was awarded the Assistant Golf Professional of the Year award for the Indiana PGA Section and served as the Head Golf Professional at Crooked Stick from 2010-2013. Patrick has served as the Head Golf Professional at Woodland Country Club for the past nine seasons.

Patrick serves on the Indiana PGA Board of Directors as Vice President, Indiana Golf Foundation Board, IGA-PGA Board and Penn State PGM Alumni Board as Past President. Patrick's recent accolades include the 2014 Indiana PGA Section Merchandiser of the Year, 2015 Callaway Master Staff Professional of the Year and 2020 Horton Smith Award for the Indiana PGA Section, 2022 Bill Strausbaugh Award for the Indiana PGA Section and 2023 Golf Professional of the Year for the Indiana PGA Section. Prior to Crooked Stick, Patrick worked at Laurel Valley Golf Club, Oakmont Country Club and Seminole Golf Club.

Konnor Kimmel, PGA

PGA Head Golf Professional

Konnor was born and raised in Columbus, Indiana. He attended Eastern Kentucky University, where he graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with the PGA Golf Management concentration. Konnor and his wife Rachel were married in the fall of 2017 in their hometown of Columbus.

Upon election to PGA Membership, Konnor returned to Woodland as a PGA Assistant Professional in 2017 after completing tenures at Hidden Creek Golf Club, The Gongaware Indiana Junior Golf Academy and Jupiter Hills Club.

In the fall of 2019, Konnor joined the staff of GroveXXIII in Hobe Sound, Florida during the club’s opening. This opportunity exposed Konnor to the experience of working at a completely new facility with a unique membership and daily operation. Konnor gained great experience with golf course setup, handicapping, practice facility design and unique merchandising. Konnor’s additional work experience includes the 2018 and 2019 Masters Tournament Merchandise Operation as well as extensive practice with statistical and game improvement programs working with PGA and Mini Tour Professionals.

As of October 1st, 2021, Konnor started his tenure as our Head Golf Professional. Konnor and Rachel are incredibly excited to be returning to Indiana, especially to be back at Woodland.

Noah Gascho

Golf Pro Assistant

Noah was born and raised in Frankfort, Indiana and joined the United States Air Force in 2014. Noah and his wife Haley were married in the summer of 2015 in Frankfort. After his time in the Air Force, he graduated from Butler University in May 2023, majoring in Economics and Business Law.

Since August 2023, Noah has been the Director of Golf at Elwood Golf Links within O'Neal Golf Management (Colin and John "Doc" O'Neal). This opportunity exposed Noah to building relationships with membership, league administration, tournament/event organization, community engagement, budget management, merchandising, and PGA Jr. League involvement. Within the first month of joining the staff at Elwood Golf Links, he started the PGA program and is currently in Level 2 as a PGA Associate, with a goal of PGA Membership towards the beginning of 2026.

In 2025, he will gain his PGA HOPE certification and aim to give back to the military community. Noah's main passions in golf are lessons/instruction and junior golf development. At Elwood Golf Links, Noah founded a non-profit organization and 501(c)3 called "Links to the Game." The non-profit serves as a community outreach initiative to grow the game within junior golf.

Ben Lemke

Golf Pro Assistant

Ben was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he developed a love for sports and the outdoors at an early age. Growing up, he found himself constantly drawn to activities that combined both skill and strategy, and golf quickly became his passion. Ben attended Purdue Fort Wayne, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management in 2019. In 2020, Ben began his journey in the golf industry at Orchard Ridge Country Club in Fort Wayne, where he started as a Golf Shop Manager. His passion for the game and commitment to delivering an excellent member experience, quickly earned him a role as First Assistant Golf Professional. In January 2023, Ben took the next step in his career as an Assistant Golf Professional at Woodland. Since joining the team, he has embraced the opportunity to lead key programs such as the Men's Club, Ladies Golf, and the Caddie Program. Ben finds great joy in helping golfers improve their skills and ensuring they have a memorable experience on the course. He thrives on the relationships he builds with members and enjoys mentoring the next generation through the Caddie Program. When he’s not on the course, Ben enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching sports, and playing cards. 
Kenton Hobbs

Director of Instruction

Kenton first fell in love with golf after attending a summer junior camp as a nine-year-old.  Born in Bedford, Indiana, Kenton moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of twelve. His golf career took off at Lakota West High School, where he helped secure a State Championship in 2000. He then earned an athletic scholarship to Xavier University and competed on the Men’s Golf Team. Kenton’s professional golf journey began in 2006 as an apprentice at Bloomington Country Club. He officially became a PGA Member in 2012 after completing his apprenticeship as the Lead Assistant Golf Professional here at Woodland Country Club under Pat Welch. He went on to refine his skills at Louisville Country Club, where he led a junior golf program to a 2019 PGA Junior League State Championship and Regional runner-up finish. His career also includes time teaching under former PGA Tour Member and Kentucky PGA Hall of Fame Inductee Ralph Landrum, and most recently he served as Director of Instruction at GOLFTEC Carmel. Kenton taught over 3,000 lessons in 2023 and 2024 and was nominated for Indiana PGA Teacher of the Year in both years. Kenton holds numerous teaching certifications, including those from the PGA’s American Development Model, Titleist Performance Institute, US Kids Golf, Swing Catalyst, TrackMan, SAM Putt Lab, and SuperSpeed Golf. His deep knowledge and passion for teaching will be a tremendous asset to our members and guests.
