Patrick White, PGAPGA Head Golf Professional

Patrick was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania before attending Penn State University where he graduated in 2008 from their Professional Golf Management Degree. Patrick and his wife Sally were married in September 2011, and they have two children, Teagan Lynn White born on February 19, 2018 and Cooper Reed White born on November 11, 2020.  


After his tenure at Penn State, Patrick moved to Indiana to work at Crooked Stick Golf Club. In 2009, Patrick was awarded the Assistant Golf Professional of the Year award for the Indiana PGA Section and served as the Head Golf Professional at Crooked Stick from 2010-2013. Patrick has served as the Head Golf Professional at Woodland Country Club for the past eight seasons. 


Patrick serves on both the Indiana PGA Board of Directors as Secretary and Penn State PGM Alumni Board as President. Patrick's recent accolades include the 2014 Indiana PGA Section Merchandiser of the Year, 2015 Callaway Master Staff Professional of the Year and 2020 Horton Smith Award for the Indiana PGA Section. Prior to Crooked Stick, Patrick worked at Laurel Valley Golf Club, Oakmont Country Club and Seminole Golf Club.

Jason Carbone, PGAPGA Director of Instruction

Jason Carbone comes to Woodland CC after having spent 10 years as the Director of Instruction at Baltusrol Golf Club. Prior to his time in New Jersey, Jason served as Director of Instruction for Jim McLean running his Arizona location.  Jason started with Jim McLean in 1998, and since then has worked his way to becoming one of the top instructors in the country. In 2007, he was named one of the Top 100 Instructor in America by Golf Magazine, and was listed as one of the "Best Young Teachers" by Golf Digest since the list began.  Throughout the years, Jason has received honors including: #1 instructor in the state of Ohio from 2003-2006, New Jersey PGA Teacher of the Year in 2016 & 2017 and Indiana PGA Teacher of the Year in 2020.

While progressing up the ranks with the Jim McLean Golf School, he would spend the summers serving as Director of Instruction at the top facilities in Ohio - Inverness Club in Toledo and Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, as well as The Bear’s Club in Jupiter, FL.  While at these facilities, Jason earned a reputation that allowed him to teach players of all levels including current PGA, LPGA, and Nationwide Tour players. He currently works with Ryan Armour on the PGA Tour. Other players he has been fortunate enough to help include Jack Nicklaus, Len Mattiace, Cristie Kerr, Casey Martin and numerous others.  Probably the accomplishment most proud of, is coaching 5 players who never had status, to either PGA Tour or LPGA Tour exempt status. 

Brittany Kelly, PGAPGA Assistant Golf Professional

Brittany joined the Woodland team in February of 2017. She grew up in Fishers, Indiana where she attended Hamilton Southeastern High School. Brittany competed on the Women's Golf Team at Ball State University and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Sport Administration.   

Brittany spent four years as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Hawthorns Golf & CC from 2013-2016. She was elected to PGA Membership in December of 2016 and was awarded the 2017 Indiana PGA Section Assistant of the Year. Brittany is a member of PGA LEAD Cohort IV. She serves on the National PGA Tournament Committee and Indiana Section PGA Board of Directors on the Associates Committee. 

Throughout the years, Brittany has remained a very accomplished player; winning the 2006 and 2019 Indiana Women's Open, 2009 IWGA Women's Amateur, 2019 Indiana PGA Assistants Championship, and qualifying for the 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020 National PGA Assistants Championship, and qualifying for the 2018, 2020 and 2021 PGA Professional National Championship. She also was a member and competed on the LPGA Symetra Tour for two years. Brittany competed in her first LPGA major at the 2019 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Brittany was a proud member of the victorious USA team in the 2019 Women's PGA Cup. She was recently honored as the 2019 and 2020 Indiana Women's PGA Player of the Year.

Kyle is entering his second season at Woodland Country Club. He grew up in Logansport, Indiana and worked at Rock Hollow Golf Club for the past five seasons.
Logan Rosa, PGASeasonal Assistant Golf Professional
Logan joined the Woodland Country Club golf professional team after graduating from the Penn State University Professional Golf Management program in 2020. He grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where his first introduction to golf was at Lancaster Country Club working as a caddie. Over the course of the seven years at Lancaster C.C., Logan became a J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholar and assisted a multitude of LPGA Tour professionals leading up to the 2015 US Women’s Open.

Logan’s first foray into the golf industry, was as a PGA intern at Vineyard Golf Club on Martha’s Vineyard, The Philadelphia Cricket Club, Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida and our very own Woodland Country Club. Over the course of these internships, Logan was able to immerse himself in an environment unique to the game of golf, as well as, provide him with an opportunity to learn all of the different facets that go into operating a world class golf facility. He looks forward to teaching and coaching the Operation36 juniors at Woodland CC. 

Matt SchillerSeasonal Assistant Golf Professional
Matt is entering his first season at Woodland. He grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where he attended St. Xavier High School. He walked on to the men's golf team at Fordham University and graduated in 2018 with a B.S. in Marketing. He spent the prior two years in advertising.
